As we aim to meet more new athletes and outdoor enthusiasts in 2021 and share the VOOM love, we are really pleased to announce a new partnership with T2 Events.
T2 are based in the scenic south Lakes area and pride themselves on offering friendly, well-run events that cater brilliantly for both novice and beginners whilst also offering a challenge to those at a more advanced level.
Event director Tasha Walsh, who has more than 15 years experience organising events, has a clear vision of what she wants to offer entrants of T2 events.
The events calendar (subject to Covid-19) includes the Lancaster Duathlon, Wheelbase Spring Classic Sportive, Kendal Triathlon, Semer Water Swims & Swim Run events, as well as the ever-popular Capenwray mid-week tris, held in arguably the best open water swim venue in the North. Perhaps the biggest event T2 run each year is the Windermere One Way swim, or WOW for short. Usually held each September, the WOW sees around 200 swimmers, each paired with a support kayaker, taken on a swim down the length of England's longest lake. VOOM will be on hand at the feed stop during this event with VOOM Hydrate electrolyte drink and our popular Pocket Rocket Energy Bars!
With a varied calendar of events, predominantly in North Lancashire and Cumbria as well as the Yorkshire Dales, geographically speaking, T2 Events are an ideal partner for VOOM. The ethos of 'giving the entrants more' resonates with VOOM as wee try to give more energy, so we can't wait to be at T2's events in this year and chatting to all the enthusiastic athletes of all levels.
